Welcome to the Fall 2005 edition of the FLC Northeast News. Our region is very active in all phases of technology transfer—from the laboratory to the marketplace—and the articles in this issue present a glimpse into the scope of our involvement.

The past few months have been quite busy for the Northeast Region, with many technology transfer projects and activities taking place. In particular, our 2005 regional meeting in Albany was a great success. We enjoyed strong attendance and received many positive comments about the presentations and networking functions. As always, the Northeast Region is only as strong as the participation of its members.
