2010 Northeast Regional Award Winners Honored
The Northeast Region presented the 2010 awards September 22 at its fall annual meeting in Fishkill, New York. Three awards were presented for both outstanding team and individual achievements in technology transfer. Read more |
Brookhaven Lab's Small Business Program Receives Hauppauge Industrial Organization-Long Island Business Achievement Award
The Small Business Program of Brookhaven National Laboratory has been chosen to receive the Hauppauge Industrial Association-Long Island (HIA-LI) Business Achievement Award in the Special Innovation category, which recognizes outstanding accomplishments and technical innovation, industry leadership, and commitment to the continued growth of the Long Island business community. HIA-LI is a 30-year-old business organization that focuses on the economic health of its approximately 1,000 member companies and the entire Long Island business community. Read more |
Northeast Region Fall 2010 Meeting Review
The heart of the Hudson Valley was the site of the Northeast Region's fall 2010 meeting. Held at Hotel Sierra in Fishkill, New York, on September 20-22, the meeting provided an opportunity for technology transfer professionals to gather for informative sessions and social events in a relaxing, bucolic setting. PPPL Part of Energy Innovation Hub Team Receiving $122 Million
The Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) is part of a research consortium awarded $122 million from the Department of Energy (DOE) to establish an Energy Innovation Hub focused on developing technologies to make buildings more energy-efficient. PPPL will receive $1.2 million over five years to lead the Hub's education and workforce development task. Read more |
